On Saturday, May 13, the Weaving, Spinning, and Fiber Arts Guild of Idaho Falls will participate in the second annual Ammon Scottish Festival held in McGowin Park in Ammon.
On Saturday, May 13, the second annual Ammon Scottish Festival will be held in McGowin Park in Ammon. The Opening Ceremonies are at 9:00 and the Closing Ceremonies are at 4:30 so it is a full day of fun. We will be setting up at 8:15 if you would like to come and help. The Guild was there last year with a booth where we did demonstrations and exhibited many different kinds of the fiber arts. We will be there this year, too, so if you want to join us that would be great. You will need to bring your current project, favorite chair, and any drinks or snacks you want during the day. We will make a lunch run at the appropriate time. Come prepared to share your love of the fiber arts with other Festival attenders. We had a great time last year and I think this year will be no different.
